Notice again that Jesus didn’t say a word about praying to God or Jesus to do something about devils. They would be free from the enemy, because they would exercise authority over him. They would break the power of the devil over their own lives and the lives of their loved ones. Jesus was simply saying that in His Name believers would have authority over the devil. Jesus wasn’t talking necessarily about casting the devil out of people who are demon-possessed. The very first sign Jesus said would follow any and every believer was: “In my name shall they cast out devils.” Hagin on the authority that believers have because of their position in Christ. “And these signs shall follow them that believe In my name shall they cast out devils” (Mark 16:17).
